I seldom get to shoot a marriage proposal so when Gregg reached out to see if I can document his marriage proposal to his girl friend Sarah, I immediately jumped on the opportunity. For me it was a chance to shoot something different for a weekend other than a wedding. I connected with Gregg and he gave me the plan for the hour or so, and off I went on the Saturday evening to the Commonwealth ave park in Boston.

On this beautiful day with the perfect weather at a tree lined park, three instrumentalists were hired in place by Gregg to play some soft romantic tunes while I took a hidden spot in the park to capture Sarah’s reaction the moment they get close to a foot or so to the musicians. 

All I can tell you at this point was Gregg made his move and I captured the love, shock, surprise, happiness and more all on Sarah’s face. The plan worked to a T. Timing, delivery and execution was all perfect. Gregg got Sarah very shocked and happy. The rest is history. Gregg’s parents, family & close friends were also in attendance to help setup the flowers and greet the newly engaged couple.
